Karli & Anna’s September Wedding

Karli & Anna were married at The Graham Mill, one of my favorite wedding venues in the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. I first met these sweeties over the phone while they still lived in Chicago and were planning their big move south to the Tar Heel State. We connected over our shared love of travel, dogs, and baseball - Karli & Anna met when they played for rival college softball teams (the drama!). As Karli’s dad said during his speech “While Karli never caught Anna stealing, she did catch her heart”.

Karli & Anna’s connection to one another radiated - it was evident and clear to me from the moment I first spoke with them that these two are people who should be together. This was only reinforced when we met a few months before wedding day for engagement photos. Leading up to wedding day, Karli & Anna hit a bit of wedding drama - their original DJ backed out. Scrambling with only days left before the wedding, they reached out to me to see if I could help. I immediately reached out to every reputable DJ I know, and within an hour we had locked down DJ Q Focus to help with the big day.

With that speed bump in the rearview mirror, the rest of the day unfolded smoothly, with laughter, love, and one of the best wedding dance floors I had the pleasure of photographing in 2024.
