Wedding Photo Philosophy

This is my wedding day mantra. I’m there as your guest, which means I am there to prioritize your experience. This means I’ll never ask you to fake adjust your earrings for the 5th time, and I’ll never pull you out of a laugh-filled conversation. We’ll make time for awesome portraits, but my main goal is to document the day: the laughs, the tears, the joy, all of the heart and beauty and love.

Hello!

I’m Tom and I love weddings.

I fell in love with weddings when I was nine years old. My teenage cousins had started a conga line that was snaking across the dance floor, picking up steam as it went. Drunk uncles and sober grandmas joined the fray, and soon the whole reception was in on it. I hopped into the middle, a huge smile on my face, and thought this is awesome.

After photographing over 100 weddings, I still feel this same sense of joy, optimism, and excitement every time I photograph a wedding.
