Enjoy your wedding day. I’ll take care of the rest.

Wedding planning is complicated enough without wondering about pricing.

Full day wedding packages start at $4000, and include unlimited day-of coverage and full print rights. I offer packages with second photographers, engagement sessions, and rehearsal dinner coverage. Most couples choose packages averaging $4500-$5000. I also offer smaller (6 hours or fewer) packages for clients local to Raleigh, NC.

Film Photography

While I primarily photograph weddings & session on professional digital cameras, I do include film images at each wedding and most sessions.

“Tom created wedding photos that make me happy cry. He is a wedding photographer with kindness, humor, and heart. My favorite thing about working with him is the intention he put into getting to know me and my partner.”

— Isabel, 2023 bride

“I can’t say enough good things about working with Tom. He is profoundly personable & kind. Endless stars!”

— Nan, 2022 bride

All night and in the days after the wedding, we were getting compliments from friends and family about how much they loved Tom.

- Taylor, 2023 Groom

What does full wedding day coverage mean?

You’ve got me for the full day. Want your pancake breakfast with your girls photographed? I’m there. Partying til midnight with all your besties? I’m there.

Simply put, I don’t believe your wedding day should be on a ticking clock. We’ll work together to craft a timeline that makes sense and allows for me to capture everything on wedding day.

What is an engagement session like?

Engagement sessions are a chance for us to hang out, get to know each other, and make great photos together. I always suggest that we get together for a drink (alcoholic or otherwise) or three before we start photographing - drinks are on me, and then we’ll go for a stroll and take pics. We’ll spend 1-3 hours together and by the end we’ll be besties.

Are you insured?

Yes! As all wedding vendors should, I carry liability insurance. If your venue requires a certificate of insurance, I’m happy to provide.

Do you charge travel fees?

I do not charge travel fees in North Carolina, and do not charge travel fees in most of New England. If your New England wedding is more than 180 miles from Boston, a travel fee may apply. If your wedding is outside of North Carolina or New England, a travel fee may apply.

Do you offer prints & albums?

Yes! I work with professional quality print labs to offer a variety of prints and albums. All of my packages include complimentary album design if you do choose to order an album.

What is your turn around time?

3-4 weeks for engagement sessions, 8-10 weeks for weddings. For weddings, I send preview photos (sneak peeks) within 1 week of your wedding day.

How many photos do we get?

I don’t put an upper limit on it. I typically deliver ~75 photos per hour of coverage, but my philosophy is to deliver all the good ones.

You will have access to your online gallery for a minimum of 2 years.

How do you keep our photos safe?

On wedding day I photograph with 2 cameras on my person, along with additional backup cameras on site should the need arise. Each camera has 2 memory card slots so an immediate backup is created every time I press the shutter.

At home, I backup your images on 2 hard drives, plus a cloud backup. 1 hard drive lives in my fire safe until your images are delivered.

Once your gallery is delivered, it is password protected and you can share with anyone you like.

How do you define your photography style?

I have two modes on wedding day - first, during family portraits, group photos, and couple portraits, I will guide all participants so that everyone looks their best. I have lots of experience wrangling wedding guests!

My second mode is what I call “guest mode”. I am mostly a fly on the wall, documenting moments as they flow. I think of myself as a guest first, a photographer second, and strive to document the wedding day as it feels to your guests. I am a firm believer there is always something to be photographed, and my camera never leaves my side.

How do I know if we’re a good fit?

If you value people over pageantry, real laughs over manufactured moments, there’s a good chance we’re going to vibe.

What’s the booking process like?

After we have our consultation, I’ll send over a short contract via e-mail for y’all to sign. I require a $1,000 non refundable retainer to hold the date, with remaining balance due by wedding day.
